Christmas Carols Inspired by Finals

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Wash U chapter.

Yeah, it’s finals season but it’s also the holidays!!! Here are a few Christmas Carols, spun with a bit of that finals stress, to get you through these next few weeks.

To the tune of “Away in a Manger”

Away in the library

No room in my head

For anymore Econ

I’d rather be dead

The clouds in the sky

Rain down over me

A sad, tired student

Full of pain and misery.

To the tune of “Jingle Bells”

Dashing through campus

With my backpack and laptop.

I really need coffee

Or else I’m gonna drop!

I don’t know if I’ll learn

Enough densities and masses.

What fun it to not know if

You will pass all your classes!

To the tune of “Rudolph the Red-Nose Reindeer”

Coffee, my caffeine savior

Is what I can’t live without.

And if I stop drinking,

I will pass out right now!

All of the other beverages

Can’t keep me up past 10.

When I’m stuck in the library,

Coffee is my only friend.

To the tune of “Silver Bells”

Stress and pain, stress and pain,

It’s finals time in Missouri.

Please don’t cry, hold it in.

Soon it will be Christmas break!
