With school operating remotely for many campuses this semester, it is crucial that we take steps to make this semester as seamless and productive as possible! After my first week, I have discovered some useful tips and tricks for making this semester the best it can be.

1. Keep an organized calendar

Having some asynchonous classes may require you to carve out specific time to take/attend lectures. By putting these classes and exams into your calendar (either a physical calendar or google calendar/outlook) you can best organize your day!

2. Pack quick and easy lunches

For some students traveling to campus to study (from off-campus housing), it adds less stress to pack quick and easy lunches. I’ve most recently had foods like oatmeal and salads with minimal ingredients, making them easy to transport and eat on campus.

3. Don’t be afraid to reach out to your professors/TAs

Without having the opportunity to speak to professors in person about work and the syllabus, it is definitely important to email them if there are any questions/misunderstandings. It can definitely be intimidating, but clarity can pay off!
