Ice cream is the perfect way to celebrate the beginning of Spring.  In no particular order, here are the best places in St. Louis to get your ice cream fix.

  1. Clementine’s Naughty and Nice Creamery

The delicious smell of this homemade creamery hits you right as you enter.  Known for their weekly rotation of special flavors and classics like Gooey Butter Cake, Clementine’s always is a great choice.

  1. Ted Drewes Frozen Custard

It’s like Dairy Queen, but custard!  Options range from “concretes” with whatever toppings you’d like – think homemade hot fudge, brownies, peanut butter cups – to sundaes with strawberry shortcake pieces and syrupy strawberries.  The classic outdoor stand vibes are a must-go in St. Louis.

  1. Andy’s Frozen Custard

Similarly to Ted Drewes, Andes is known for their concretes, but they provide more structure for your decision.  My go-to favorite is the BootDaddy Concrete with Andy’s vanilla or chocolate frozen custard blended with Oreo®, creme caramel and hot fudge.

  1. Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams

Similar to Clementine’s, Jeni’s has amazing weekly flavors, from “Everything Bagel” to “Goat Cheese and Cherry.”

  1. The Baked Bear

Homemade cookies and ice cream sandwiched together, rolled in a topping of your choice.  Need I say more?

  1. Snow Factory Roll Ice Cream

If you’re feeling like making a special Instagram post, hit up the Snow Factory for a rolled ice cream treat.  Their peanut butter flavor is amazing.
