We can all get a little down during finals, spending all day studying and becoming both physically and mentally exhausted in a matter of days. Sometimes, a little treat can make all the difference. Here are seven snacks you should pick up for you and your friends to help take the edge off after endless hours of writing, lecture-viewing, or whatever it is that you’re doing.

.Trader Joe’s Speculoos Cookie Butter: This stuff is seriously incredible. It’s a spread with a peanut-buttery consistency but tastes like a cross between sugar cookies and gingerbread. It’s good on pretzels, bananas, apple slices, or straight from the jar. Oh, and make sure you get the crunchy kind.

.Emerald vanilla roasted/cocoa roasted almonds: This is the perfect snack to keep you going. They’re regular roasted almonds with a light coating, and they’re seriously so good. You can get these nuts in 100-calorie packs or in a big container, but I recommend the portion control since the little packs are easy to throw in your backpack. Find them at Schnucks or Target.

.Whole Foods’ cherry vanilla granola: I’m pretty sure this is the same amazing granola they have on campus and it’s perfect for a little snack when you’re losing steam. This is my personal favorite but they have tons of different flavors in the bulk section at Whole Foods in Brentwood.

.Dried fruit and nut mix: Mix dried apricots and dried cranberries with nuts (or even dark chocolate) for an energy-boosting, tasty snack to bring to the library. They have great pre-made bags of mixes at both Whole Foods and Trader Joe’s as well.

.Dark chocolate-covered espresso beans: Because what’s better than chocolate and caffeine?

.Dried edamame: Dried soybeans are a crunchy, nutritional snack that’s easy to throw in your backpack before a long day of studying. You can get Seapoint Farms brand in Paws n’ Go or The Village.

.Chobani Bites: Chobani now makes mini yogurts with unique flavors, like raspberry with dark chocolate chips or fig with orange zest. They’re tastier than regular Greek yogurt and are a nutritious study snack with protein to give you the energy you need.
