Looking for healthy(ish) snacks to munch on during Zoom classes? This is your one-stop-shop for a Trader Joes dorm snack grocery list!
1. Chocolate Chip Granola Bites
These are a great on-the-go snack with the cutest packaging, bound to attract some compliments. Vegan, gluten-free, and dairy-free, these granola bites are a healthy (and delicious) way to quench your sweet tooth. Just throw them in your bag and you’re good to go!
2. Vanilla Overnight Oats
Trader Joes’ individually packaged single-serve overnight oats is a filling breakfast or snack that can easily be squeezed into your mini-fridge. This dairy-free treat is only made with a few ingredients and can be easily dressed up by adding fresh fruit, a dash of cinnamon, or (my favorite) peanut butter!
3. Sweet Potato Chips
The sweet potato chips from Trader Joes are TO DIE FOR. They are ADDICTING. With only 3 ingredients, these sweet potato chips are a great salty fix to snack on while studying and watching recorded lectures.
4. Nonfat Greek Yogurt
The nonfat Greek yogurts from Trader Joes are always stocked in my mini-fridge. These individually packaged yogurts taste amazing and can be a light and quick meal to eat between Zoom classes. Like the overnight oats, add your favorite fresh fruits and granola for an even better snack!
5. Seasoned Kale Chips
The kale chips seasoned with cashew butter and tahini are a delicious way to get your greens in! Full disclosure, they are a bit messy. But, they are a major upgrade from your average kale chip.
6. Pre-Made Salads
Although these may not traditionally classify as a “snack,” I always keep one or two premade salads in my room so I can always have a backup meal or a more filling snacking alternative. My personal favorite is the corn and quinoa salad, which I can easily bring to my Zoom pod.
7. Dark Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups
Last but not least, I LIVE off the Trader Joes dark chocolate peanut butter cups. If you haven’t tried them, I promise they are life-changing. I always keep them in my fridge as a pick me up, a late-night snack, and a motivator while I’m doing school work.
Happy snack shopping!
