1. Cook up some delicious Thanksgiving recipes.

Assign each friend something to bring and make it potluck style! Some great Thanksgiving side dishes are mashed sweet potatoes, stuffing, cranberry sauce, brussel sprouts (recipes linked).

2.  DIY or buy some fun place settings.

Decorate your table with cute placemats, napkins, coasters and table decor.

3.  Get creative with some cute fall decorations.

Throw some mini pumpkins around the kitchen and dining room or even some fake leaves on the table. Another easy DIY is filling glass vases with “fall” items.

4. Don’t forget the drinks!

Get in the holiday spirit with some apple cider and cranberry cocktails.

5. Prepare a fun activity.

One fun activity to do with friends that you might not be seeing over winter break is to Secret Santa Thanksgiving addition…. Secret Turkey anyone? Another nice thing to do is have everyone write down what they are thankful for, put it in a jar and have everyone pull a note out and read it allowed.
