I think I speak for a lot of students when I say midterm season has hit me like a brick. I think we could all use a well-deserved, Netflix break to reset our brains and get back into the swing of things. SOME of us could also use a good reason to procrastinate. On that note, here is a list of 5 Netflix shows (in no particular order) to binge after (or during) midterms.

  1. Schitt’s Creek: There is a reason that this show won so many Emmys this past season. If you are looking for a comedic escape and just a good laugh to ease the pain that your Chem test has just caused.
  2. New Girl: New Girl is one of the most perfect shows ever created. How could you not enjoy that long drawn out romance and the quick humor? Oh, and Schmidt. Just Schmidt.
  3. Community: This is such a wonderful series. Consider starting your day listening to Troy and Abed in the MoOrnInG. I guarantee you will be in a better mood.
  4. Derry Girls: This is the most underrated TV show I ever watched. It immediately puts me in a good mood. The thick Irish accents, knee-slapping jokes, and just overall chaos. There are like no seasons and it’s just such an easy watch.
  5. The Great British Baking Show: I feel like I shouldn’t have to explain myself on this one. I mean what is there not to love about a baking show, British accents, yummy cake, and comedy?
