A simple black leather jacket looks good with everything. Throw it on top of jeans and a t-shirt for a grungy, model-off-duty look or on top of a cute sweater dress. It will keep you warm without ruining your perfect outfit, and I promise you won’t regret investing in a nice one. For a faux-leather jacket at a more affordable price check out Zara. If you are ready to splurge on this staple piece, head to All Saints or Rag and Bone.

Oversized Jean Jacket

Denim can be paired with almost any outfit. With florals, neutrals, or more denim, it never really clashes. Head to your local thrift store to hunt for a vintage one; The older it looks the better. It will keep your outfit from looking too “try hard”. A jean jacket is also perfect because you can wear it all year round. Whether it is thrown over a big, chunky sweater in the fall or over a flowy skirt in the summer it always looks cute.

Colorful Bomber

Now that you have your two neutral pieces, it’s time to add some color to your wardrobe. The bomber style is fun and retro, so go all the way and get a unique one. Ditch the plain black bomber for a vintage style with embroidering or a blush pink color (this season’s hottest shade). Maybe search for one with a fun zipper or striped sleeves. Layer it with jeans, t-shirt, and sneakers and you’re ready to go!
