Earlier this month was Tokyo’s biggest edm festival, Electrox. Headliners included Afrojack, Kaskade, and Bass Jackers. Most often after performing in Tokyo, foreign artists will tour around some of the most popular locations here. Campus cutie, Grace Kwak, from our campus cutie couples edition has incredible luck meeting some of the artists that come here to perform, as shared in her interview.
This time, she bumped into one of edm’s most influencial artists, Kaskade. Last year, he was in Forbes top paid DJ list and he was the only DJ to perform main stage at Coachella Music and Arts Festival. A source I recieved from a fan of his also mentioned that he previously lived in Japan, explaining why he was able to respond to Grace in her Snapchat video!
