To start off, where were you born and raised?
Maryland, US!
What surprised you most about Japan?
How good the sushi is. And that I can pay just about any bill at the convenience store.
What is your favorite thing about living here?
I can get just about anywhere by train. Hakone, Kyoto, Osaka.. you name it!
What do you miss most about home?
My family, having movie nights with them. And good Mexican food.
Craziest experience you have had so far in college?
Volunteering and traveling for a month in Cambodia with my friend. Cambodia is crazy fun! I recommend it.
Where do you see yourself in the next year or so?
Probably back in the States. I’m interested in teaching at schools in low income districts. I want to change the world by helping people in need, so I thought that starting in my home country would be a good start.
