Following Warwick Pride’s interview with Her Campus Warwick, we are delighted share an update on their campaign for gender neutral toilets.
In a statement published on the official Warwick Pride Facebook page, Warwick Pride had confirmed with the Vice Chancellor:
‘it is now official university policy that all new University buildings will have gender neutral toilets’
With regards to spreading the policy to the rest of campus, Warwick Pride said:
‘we’re targeting buildings one at a time, to change a pre selected block of toilets, and build up coverage this way’
The campaign started back in November, and Pride are already in communications with the Library and plan to move onto the Maths buildings soon.
