Her Campus (HC): What do you enjoy most about your role with Her Campus?
Betsy Mann (BM): I love working with amazing and hard working women!
HC: Why did you get involved in Her Campus?
BM: I’ve always had a passion for online digital media platforms, especially the marketing aspect of them.
HC: What makes you passionate and excited about marketing, PR, and media?
BM: Media is always changing, thanks to explosion of social media. It’s exciting to be learning and creating new content everyday as the way we approach media changes daily!
HC: What is your favorite Wake Forest memory, so far?
BM: Favorite memory…? That’s a hard one…A recent favorite memory of mine was watching the Louisville basketball game from the court. I was photographing the game for the school newspaper so it was surreal to be able to watch the Deacons defeat such a strong team literally inches away from me. I also rolled the quad for the first time that night; it was one of those “Proud to be a Deac” moments!
HC: What are you looking forward to most in the last half of the semester/
BM: I’m looking forward to simply enjoying every day, both the fun moments and stressful ones. I know it’s cliché but the reality of becoming a senior is starting to hit me as I watch my senior friends prepare for graduation. Junior year has been a tough one academically but I’ve also made so many friendships that make those stressful days effortless!
