Our annual Student Union’s spring concert is not a wrap! This time Rae Sremmurd played for us. If you are anything like me, you had no hesitation in buying the ticket even though you don’t know much about the artists. So, here are some quick “get to know facts” about Rae Sremmurd:
- They are an American hip hop duo from Tulepo, Mississippi (same hometown as Elvis Presley).
2. Rae Sremmurd is actually “Ear Drummers” spelled backwards, and the artists’ real names are Swae Lee and Slim Jxmmi
3. Their most famous single is “Black Beatles,” but you have probably heard “No Type” and “No Flex Zone” as well.
4. The mannequin challenge went viral because of the “Black Beatles” song.
5. They are signed with Mike Will Made, the same producer for Rihanna, 2 Chainz, Kanye West, Jay Z and Juicy J.
The concert was on Saturday March 25 at the LJVM Coliseum at 7pm.
