Kim Petras is a German singer who mainly creates pop music but with an EDM vibe to them. Some of her inspirations include Madonna, Kylie Minogue, and Britney Spears.
Last year she released an EP called Turn Off the Light Vol. 1 with eight Halloween-themed jams. This year, she released the full album Turn Off the Light which contains the songs from the first volume along with nine more songs!
The album is the epitome of a Halloween party track. All the songs have her classic pop EDM style while incorporating creepy undertones and lyrics to make the album fit the Halloween spirit perfectly. My personal favorite tracks on the album are “Bloody Valentine,” “I don’t wanna die…,” and “Turn Off the Light.” Turn Off the Light (the track) even has Elvira, Mistress of the Dark, featured in the song. You can’t get any more Halloween than Elvira!
