Freshman year I scoured Pinterest for hours trying to come up with ideas on how to beautify my dorm room. I came to school with a vision in mind and then never executed it. It was overwhelming trying to create an aesthetically pleasing room (as well as a lot of effort, the various Instagram accounts made it look easy). However, this year, I was able to conquer my fear and decorate my room. For those of you that are still struggling, such as I did, to add a touch of your personal style, then here are some cool sites that will make your dorm room look like it just fell out of a Pinterest board.
Urban Outfitters
While their tapestries are a bit on the pricey side, they are well worth the buy. A tapestry will last you through four years of college and comes in handy as a cute background for the Instagrams to come. Plus, the tapestry in your room will make it look less like a prison cell with the white washed walls and more like a cozy abode.
Dormify
Dormify offers bedding as well as adorable throw pillows and string lights. It is a great resource for trinkets to hang up around your room.
PB Teen
Pbteen.com PB Teen is the holy grail of all things room related. My room at home is decked out in PB Teen garb and my bedding here at school is as well. Suffice to say, I love a good PB Teen buy. They have everything from bedding and carpets to makeup and jewelry drawers. Do it. I know you want to.
