Hey there, collegiettes!

For those of you who don’t know, I’m Ellie, the editorial campus correspondent over here at HCWFU. You can read about me in my HC bio, if you want to know how I got my start and such, but I’ll leave that to you…

Fall is all about transformation, and so in the spirit of Autumn, we are re-vamping some of the features on the site. One such addition? This article, of course! Every Monday morning, I’ll be writing to you guys introducing our kick-ass content and talking about what we over at HCWFU are chatting about, learning from, and experiencing.

This week, we are all about girl-power. It’s Brest Cancer Awareness month, and the National Day of the Girl was last week, so of course, empowering ladies is on our mind. But at HCWFU, we want that mind-set to be a permanent, day-to-day thing. Why is October the only time of year we celebrate, and show our support for, what makes being a strong, sucessful female awesome? Ladies, it ain’t easy being in-dep-en-dent, and congratulating ourselves and each other should happen all the time

This week, you’ll find the final installement of our “SheSpeaks” series. You’ll also notice we’ve moved some popular blogs up to the News section because, well, they’re just that cool. The running theme? Girl power. So whether you’re reading some no-nonsense advice from our resident “Girl with a Spine” or learning about a super-relevant issue in SheSpeaks, remind yourself: who run the world? Girls.

We at HCWFU do every day.

HCXO,

Ellie
