Although everyone is focused on Valentine’s Day in just a few short days, the best day of the month is truly the day afterward: Galentine’s Day 2020 is Saturday, February 15. This is a day filled with friends, fun, and lots of goodies. If you’re single and hate the idea of Valentine’s Day, do not worry! Below is a list of dorm-friendly Galentine’s Day activity ideas to share with your girl gang.

Movie Night

You can never go wrong with a movie night, especially if it’s watching a rom-com on Galentine’s Day. Some of my personal favorites are She’s The Man, Bridesmaids, Mamma Mia, Love Actually, and Sex in the City. Whether it’s a classic or a new Netflix original, rom-coms will let you feel all the emotions you need to post-Valentine’s Day.

DIY Face Scrub

Everyone needs a little bit of self-care after Valentine’s Day. Grab some cane sugar, water, lemon, and tea tree oil, and mix! This is an easy, quick, and fun activity that you and your friends can do together— and your skin will thank you!

Bake Some Goodies

Baking is one of my favorite things to do with my friends, and there is no better time to bake other then Galentine’s Day. Below are some simple but delicious recipes that you must try!

Card Games

This one might sound lame, but if you find the right games, it can be super fun. Recently, my friends and I have discovered a couple of hilarious card games that we can play for hours. Be sure to try For the Girls, Most Likely To, and What Do You Meme?

However you choose to spend Galentine’s Day, I hope you surround yourself with women who love and appreciate you. The power of female friendships is incredible, and do not forget that!
