There is beauty all around us here in Winston-Salem. With fall break right around the corner and midterms slowly making all of us go mad, it is crucial to appreciate the little things. For your enjoyment, I have made a brief list of the places I love to go to (and wish to go) in order to de-stress and enjoy the beauty that is all around us!

Reynolda Trails

This time of year, with the cool breeze and the falling leaves, Winston-Salem looks like something out of a Nicholas Spark novel. The Reynolda Trails offer a scenic walk that will help you to remember that your life is much more than just one midterm.

Pilot Mountain

While I have never personally been, it is on the top of my to-do list. The views are supposed to be breathtaking, and it’s a great way to bond with your friends while being #sporty.

Reynolda Gardens

Follow the yellow brick road all the way to the Reynolda Gardens. With its lush plant life, it is sure to be a relaxing day as you sit on one of the many benches overlooking the gardens. Bring your school work or a friend and enjoy the last bites of nice weather.
