Reading Day Rescue!

This is a sponsored feature. All opinions are 100% from Her Campus.

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Virginia Tech chapter.

This semester’s reading day was one for the books, pun intended. With the stress of final exams, papers and deadlines that make you want to make a beeline for the nearest cuddly animal or well-poised shoulder to cry on—you could use a break. So, that’s exactly what happened. With festive red (recycled) tote bags on our shoulders, the Her Campus team took to Newman Library to lift some spirits and give away items from our Holiday Survival Kit to the focused Hokies who seemed in need of some holiday cheer.

What was in our festive little totes? Let’s do a recap.

Reading Day Rescue Kit:

1. For disguising the tears cried over learning a semester’s worth of content in one night: Rimmel ScandalEyes mascara and Rimmel Scandaleyes Waterproof Kohl Eyeliner.

2. For the loss of color in your face when you realize your exam tomorrow is actually cumulative: Rimmel Natural Bronzer.

3. For relieving the anxiety and stress and releasing the positive vibes: Yogi Sweet Tangerine Positive Energy tea bag and Green Tea Blueberry Slim Life tea.

4. For feeling like a confident queen of productivity: Provocalips 16HR Kissproof Lip Colour.

5. For unwinding when it’s all over and you can FINALLY breathe: 7 Wonders Amazonian Acai Anti-pollution Mask, 7 Wonders Caribbean Coconut Calming Mask, 7 Wonders Kalahari Melon Moisturizing Mask, Pure Silk Shave Cream and a Book of the Month subscription!

Thanks to all of the mentioned brands for rescuing some Virginia Tech students during reading day!
