Valentine’s Day is a holiday meant to celebrate the love between you and the people around you. While many assume that it is only celebrated between two people who are in a relationship, Valentine’s Day should be celebrated with someone you love, whether it is your spouse or your best friend. Whether you are looking for something less casual and low priced or upscale dining experience, there are multiple places around Blacksburg to celebrate this fun holiday! I am here to give you my favorite top 5 restaurants and the most recommended entrees!
Ceritano’s Ristorante
Ceritano’s is a classic Italian restaurant with a homey environment for its guests. This restaurant is a casual setting, great for a date night or girls night out. Ceritano’s takes reservations, so make sure you call and get your table before they are all booked up!
Recommended Entree: Ceritano’s offers fresh made pasta, hand cut ravioli, and pizzas that are easily shareable!

Cabo Fish Taco
Cabo is a Baja-style Mexican restaurant with a saloon-like interior. This restaurant is excellent for a relaxed date night and hassle-free. Unfortunately, Cabo does not take reservations, so make sure you arrive with the expectation of having to wait for a little bit.
Recommended Entree: Cabo offers their specialty tacos that comes with two tacos, and a choice of a side dish.
Cabo is considered to be priced around $6 – $15
Macado’s
Macado’s is an American food and bar restaurant, with a very casual ambiance. This is a great place to go with a group of your girlfriends and have a couple of drinks! Macado’s does not take reservations, but it’s a great place for groups with plenty of seating.
Recommended Entree: Macado’s offers multiple delicious entrees, but one of my personal favorites is the Mac & Cheese or the KC’s Chicken Mac & Cheese.
Macado’s is considered to be priced around $10 or more.
Bull and Bones Brewhaus
Bull and Bones is an American style restaurant with house-brewed beers and an upscale dining room and sports bar setting. This restaurant is a great place to take your special someone if you are looking for a fancier environment. Bull and Bones takes reservations, so take the pressure off and book a table now before they are full.
Recommended Entree: Bull and Bones has many specials on their menu, but the Smokehaus Platters is an all time favorite of mine. The Smokehaus Platters offers a choice of pulled pork, Brewhaus BBQ beef brisket, smoked corned beef, or pulled BBQ chicken, and a choice of a side dish.

The Farmhouse
The Farmhouse is a traditional American fare within a 1800’s home with a rustic decor. With its intimate ambiance, this restaurant is the perfect place to take your partner if you are looking for something new and exciting. The Farmhouse takes reservations, so make sure you call and book your table now!
Recommended Entree: Farmhouse features several different types of entrees, but is well known for their Certified Angus Beef steaks and Fresh Premium Seafood. For Valentine’s Day, I recommend the Porterhouse due to the shareable size for two people.
