I also participate in a competition called Bateman, which is a team competition which works on a campaign to raise awareness for Childhood Obesity. I also work for College media solutions where we sell advertising for the collegiate times.

HCVT: Who would you say is your celebrity crush and why?

KN: I would say it would be Beau Mirchoff, he’s an up and coming star on the new show Awkward. I love his character in the show and it doesn’t hurt that he’s very sexy!

HCVT: If TOTS named a drink after you what would it be called and why?

KN: Sweet Tooth because I love sweets and I’m a sweet person.

HCVT: What songs are on repeat on your ipod?

KN: Dirt Road Anthem by Jason Aldean, Put You in a Song by Keith Urban, Moves Like Jagger Maroon 5, I’m the Best by Nikki Minaj, In the Air by Mac Miller, and all of The Carter 5 by Lil Wayne.

HCVT: Name 3 things you could not live without.

KN:Friends, my family and, chocolate.

HCVT:Most memorable moment at VT?

KN:I think I have a lot of memorable moments. Tailgating for football games comes to mind first. I love how spirited the school gets on game days and spending all day with your good friends enjoying good food is a lot of fun for me. I also think that a memorable moment would be when I was a Transfer Orientation Guide this summer. I transferred to VT and I was glad to help all the new transfer students with their transition. I also met a great group of people who I got to spend that whole week with, getting to know them and I became really close friends with most all of them. Every day is memorable for me here at Tech, I’ve met the most amazing friends here, and have had some amazing opportunities I know I wouldn’t have had anywhere else.

HCVT: What do you want to do after graduation?

KN:After graduation I hope to have a job somewhere. Ideally I would love to live in a city whether that be D.C., NY, L.A., or even Chicago. I think that there is a limited time in exploring and after graduation would be the best time to travel and have other experiences, rather than just settling on the first job you’re offered.

HCVT: Favorite quote?

KN:“The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams”- Eleanor Roosevelt

HCVT: What would people be surprised to learn about you?

KN: I’ve transferred schools twice, This is only my second year here at VT and I’ve played just about every sport there is including ice hockey for 4 years.

HCVT: Favorite movie?

KN:My Best Friends Wedding
