Fresh Finger Tips

Spring is finally here so bury those UGGS deep in your closet and whip out those flip flops. We have the latest nail polish trends for this season and cannot wait to share them with you!  Say bye-bye to the siren reds and neon colors of the past, this year Katy Perry’s new nail polish collection, pastels, nudes and steamy metallics are hot on our radar.

Katy Perry’s OPI Collection
Recently, the famous style-icon, Katy Perry teamed up with OPI to create a five polish collection which was inspired by her newest album Teenage Dream. The fun and flirty colors are named after her hit songs, “Teenage Dream” (cotton candy sparkle), “Not like the Movies” (metallic silver), “Last Friday Night” (deep glittery periwinkle blue), and “The One That Got Away” (rich fuchsia). Also featured in the collection is the trendiest polish of the year, Black Shatter. This polish is a top coat that creates a cracked pattern when applied over a dried nail polish.  The collection is just as glamorous as Katy herself.

Pastels
What says “Spring” better than pastels? These cool and creamy shades will for sure brighten up any day. Colors like Sweet-tart Pink, Tiffany’s Blue, Fuzzy Peach, and Coral scream Spring time and add a pop of flare to any wardrobe.

Nudes
These neutral shades are sheer and look sophisticated. If you fear that you are going to look like a mannequin you can always spruce it up and add a rhinestone atop the polish.

Metallics
Metallic shades are back in action from gold and brass to metallic purples and pinks. Metallic polishes create “bling” without actually having to wear any!

Whether going fun, flirty or sophisticated, this year’s polishes are great for everyone and add a touch of spring to your everyday attire.
