1. You’ve been there, done that. You’ve had your days of partying; your wild oats are sown. When you go out now you know how to be classy, especially as you sit on the couch or the bar sipping a sophisticated cocktail silently judging everyone else, except your friends, of course. Since then you’ve gotten your life together. Or maybe you just never went through a wild, let loose stage, you just don’t really need to. You have much more fun observing everyone else who happen to still be in this stage.
2. You give amazing advice. Whether on boys, school, friends, life, whatever- you give awesome advice. People tend to turn to you because you have a very strong conscience and morals. You understand people on a strange level and have the ability to look at all sides of a situation. This makes you the designated life coach, but your friends know better than to go to you for pity, best leave that to the mom.
3. You’re a natural leader, when you need to be. You don’t like to lead very often, because you don’t want to come off as controlling but when the situation calls for it, you’re a natural. You can command attention and delegate duties and people listen to you, although it’s still unknown as to why.
4. You prefer getting drunk, watching a movie and gossiping to parties. Your perfect night is a night spent with good booze and even better friends. Parties are fun and all but just unwinding and chatting with your closest girlfriends, now that’s a night well spent.
5. But when you do go out, you know how to let loose. When you are dragged out to parties and the bars you don’t sit in the corner checking your phone. While you may be past your wilder times, you still know how to throw down. Your life philosophy is to enjoy life as often as you can; the answer to any question is always “why not?”
6. You’re always down for trying something new. You’re the one who while driving down the road, you choose to take the scenic route, just to explore a bit more. You’re the one who really wants to try out that funky dive bar on the beach. You’re always up to trying something new and being spontaneous, it keeps life interesting.
7. You hate planning, but will gladly tag along with everyone else. Thank goodness for the mom in your friend group because everyone knows how much you hate planning. That doesn’t stop you from mooching off of everyone else’s plans. But you’re fun to have along so you’re usually invited anyway.
8. You legit don’t do drama. A lot of people say that they don’t do drama. You actually don’t. But actually. The minute someone tries to drag you into it you will put your foot down so fast. You don’t put up with passive aggressiveness, you don’t put up with games and you’re far too straightforward for that. Drama is a waste of your time that you frankly have no interest in whatsoever.
9. You’re independent. You don’t mind going to dinner alone, in fact sometimes you like it. You love your walk home at night because you get some personal “me-time.” You aren’t the type of person to do things because everyone’s doing it. You do what you want when you want, with or without company. You’re also pretty perpetually single, and you’re ok with that, you tend to do better on your own.
10. You defend your friends even if they’re wrong. You care about them fiercely and will fight for them fiercely. Even if you knew better and they’re in whatever situation they’re in because they failed to take your advice, you’re going to defend them because you love them. Good luck to whatever idiot boy breaks your best friends’ heart, he’s going to need it to deal with you.
11. You’re blunt, but in a loving way. After you’re done defending your friend, you go ahead and tell her why she was wrong in the first place. You love your friends and therefore want them to realize their mistakes and learn from them. Can you control them? No, but you can try to reason with them. Anyways, this is why you’re really only good at telling them what they need to hear in place of what they want to hear.
12. You know everything about everyone. So just because you don’t get involved in drama, doesn’t mean that you don’t know about all the drama, in fact you know everything. People just tell you stuff, they know that you’re going to keep your mouth shut. Because of that you tend to have the true story, which makes it really funny to listen to all of the rumors going around.
13. Your friends know they can trust you. You’re always going to be there for them, a bit in the background, you don’t have to be the center of anything, and you really don’t want to be, but you’re always going to have your friends’ backs. Whether they need to talk, or a line of defense, or a wing woman, or just someone to relax with over a bottle of wine. They know that they can always turn to you.
