Who is your role model? My grandmother is definitely my biggest role model.
What are your talents? I can sing and am almost always singing. I’ve been playing the violin since 4th grade, guitar since 7th and I dabble here and there with piano and the ukulele. I also dance a bit or at least try.
What are some talents you wish you had? I really wish I could draw.
5 things you can’t live without? Christ, my family, music, coffee, and everyone who supports me.
Do you have any bad habits? I can be pretty indecisive from time to time.
Why did you choose VCU? I’m from Georgia, and I initially chose VCU because it was away from Georgia and I knew some of my old high school friends would be here, but as I got comfortable and started to get acquainted with the school, I started to love the diversity at VCU and I love how much talent there is in one campus.
Why did you choose your major? I chose my major because I actually enjoy Biology and I find it pretty interesting. It’s not easy but once you understand it, it’s pretty cool.
What is your favorite place in Richmond? The Cathedral is my favorite place in Richmond. It’s a peaceful, quiet and beautiful place for me to be able to collect my thoughts.
What is your dream career? My dream career would be anything that allows me to use my talents and gifts to make a positive impact on the people around me.
Dream Guy? I guess my “dream guy” would be a guy that makes me laugh, does cheesy things even though sometimes it seems like a little too much, knows how I like my coffee, doesn’t necessarily have to know how to sing but appreciates music and is willing to learn, someone who is organized, someone who is faithful not only in our relationship but also with his relationship with Christ, and someone who I can bring home to my family.
Dream Date? My dream date would be both a well planned out night with small but cute things that just kind of shows that he cares or a spontaneous date meaning I just got out of class and he’s already waiting to take me somewhere I wasn’t expecting. That would be cute.
What is your favorite childhood memory? When my younger sister, Melissa, and I were teaching our baby sister, Cathy, how to ride a bike. Or well, any memories of being young, carefree and not having any responsibilities other than being an older sister are my favorite memories.
What is your favorite type of food? I really love Vietnamese food. I don’t care what dish it is; I almost always want Vietnamese food.
