Éire: The Irish name for the island of Ireland

For two weeks this summer, I had the opportunity to study news media abroad in Ireland!  It was an amazing time.  The group I was with stayed in Dublin, the capital, for a week and then made our way to Galway, home of the famous Claddagh Ring.  We visited historic places, radio stations, newspaper offices and so many other exciting places.
