What made you choose VCU?
I chose VCU for the city life. It sounds cliché and it is but the diversity of people and variety of different activities to partake in that really appealed to me. An added benefit of going to VCU that I didn’t appreciate before is that biking around the city is really fun.

Favorite Place to go in Richmond:Â
I love going to Cary Street Gym. I get stressed if I don’t work out a lot.
What’s a fun fact about you?
I play drums in a pretty abrasive psychedelic punk band here in Richmond called TUNGS. Come check us out at a house show sometime and be entertained or mildly horrified.Â
Describe your dream girl:Â
My dream girl is someone who can challenge me intellectually without being pretentious. She’s someone I can just sit around talking to for hours on end about serious and trivial things. My dream girl is a passionate girl who can get me interested in her interests. Two very attractive characteristics to me in a girl are open-mindedness and self-confidence, so possessing those traits are important too.Â
What’s your dream job?Â
I’m not exactly sure at the moment, which seems to be the plight of many college students. Any job that utilizes some of my creativity appeals to me such as being a writer, a drummer in a band, or one of those people that gives TED talks. This runs in stark contrast to the path I am currently taking to becoming a physical therapist or doctor.    Â
What’s your biggest fear?
At the moment my biggest fear is probably finishing college and telling myself, “I could have done more!” College is a time when you have the opportunity to develop all sorts of interesting hobbies, meet all sorts of interesting people, and take your life in all sorts of interesting directions. I don’t want to make it into “the real world” and regret what I did with those opportunities.
