9 Struggles of Having Baby Face

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at VCU chapter.

Baby face isn’t a disease; it’s just another struggle a few of us are lucky enough to have. This is what us baby-faced ladies have to go through on a daily basis.

1. People who are younger than you call you cute and adorable.

2. You’re the only one of your friends to get carded when seeing a rated R movie.

3. The server automatically think you’re in high school if you don’t order a drink at a restaurant.

4. An old friend from elementary school says you haven’t changed.

5. People think you don’t get certain references because it’s “before your era.”

6. You get dirty looks from cashiers if you try to buy anything related to sex.

7. You feel like you don’t fit in with an older crowd.

8. Your doctor asks if he has to consult with a parent first before speaking with you.

9. You’re always trying new makeup looks to see what makes you look older.

Just accept your childish-looking face and the struggles that come with it. We’ll appreciate it when we’re older. And remember, at least we can order kid meals and not get weird looks.
