Many organizations across college campuses participate in what is known as the Big/ Little program where upperclassmen ‘adopt’ underclassmen or transfer students. These programs create bonds and help foster familial vibes while away at college. Here are the 10 best things about being a Little:

1. You have someone to look up to.

She’s not like any other mom- she’s a cool mom.

2. Someone always has your back.

Break-ups, sickness, bad days, or if you need a ride, someone’s got you.

3. If Biggie says no, there’s always GrandBig!

Who says being spoiled is a bad thing?

4. You don’t have to put up a front or pretend to be something you’re not. Having a Big means letting your guard down every once in a while.

Your Big is the last person who’s gonna judge you. You can tell or ask her anything, and that’s something everyone needs in college.

5. Someone’s always rooting for you.

There’s nothing like hearing “THAT’S MY LITTLE!” from the crowd!

6. PRESENTS!!!!

Again, who doesn’t love being spoiled!

7.  Your Big and you are so similar it’s scary, but you wouldn’t have it any other way.

You’re literally the same person.

8. Having a Big makes you a better person.

How can you not want to be a better person when someone believes in you that much?

9.  You gain a new best friend with the potential of being a lifelong friend.

Love you long time, Big <3
