Valentine’s Day is just around the corner, and regardless of your relationship status there’s one part of this holiday everybody can enjoy. Candy.
That’s right; whether you want to get your significant other a box of conversational hearts or get yourself of box of chocolates for a night in watching movies, Valentine’s Day candy is a treat everyone can enjoy. So what type of candy should you be getting this February 14th? Here are some suggestions that will hopefully make this Valentine’s Day even sweeter.
1. Russell Stover Chocolate in a Heart Shaped Box. The perfect treat for anyone who loves chocolate and variety. Assorted chocolates are always a good idea, and Russell Stover has an array of decorative boxes too choose from.
2. Candy Hearts. In a way the poster child for Valentine’s Day candy; these little hearts with cute messages are always fun to give out to friends.
3. Lollipops (particularly heart shaped ones) Throw back like it’s elementary school and everyone was getting a card that had one of those lollipops attached. These things are pure sugar and also delicious for anyone with a major sweet tooth.
4. Ferrero Rocher Absolutely delicious balls of chocolate surrounding a wafer that has nutella inside, plus around Valentine’s Day they bring out different version of the treat (the coconut one is really good). Just be careful not to give these to anyone with nut allergies.
5. Fun Dip Another school day throwback; fun dip is just plain….fun. And it will turn your tongue weird colors.
6. Gimbals Cherry Lovers Fruit Chews Candy This one falls more into the gift for yourself category since it comes packaged in a gigantic bag. You can get this candy at stores like Rite Aid and Wal-Mart and it’s good for anyone who likes candy that doesn’t taste super artificially flavored.
7. Hersey Kisses Cute and classic. You can get the original silver wrapper version or go for the specially designed Valentine’s Day wrapping. This way everyone can get a kiss this Valentine’s Day.
