4 Best Stores to Find Your Perfect Holiday Outfits

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at VCU chapter.

Since December has finally rolled around, the holiday season has brought many opportunities for holiday events and parties. It can be stressful enough to find the perfect party look, but it’s even more stressful to find one that can be versatile enough to meet the parents, attend a holiday office party and to have a night on the town. Here are some stores to help you crush this holiday season!

ASOS

They have a variety of options that can cater to all your needs without breaking the bank. What’s nice about this clothing app is that you can choose from multiple brands, such as Missguided, Pull&Bear, Free People and Nike. It’s like the Amazon of clothes, if you need something you can most likely find it there. So far, I found a cute red midi dress for a Nutcracker ballet performance. I know if any other holiday activities or parties pop up I can turn towards this app and find just what I need.

Nasty Gal

Nasty Gal is known for having sparkly party dresses, so why not go to the source for your holiday outfit needs? They always have a sale so if you’re in need of a velvet or sparkly dress then you can find an inexpensive option there. The menu has a party tab to help you easily navigate the website. Besides dresses, the tab advertises shoes and accessories to complete your holiday look.

Zara

Zara has party options that are a little bit pricier compared to Nasty Gal. While they solely sell items made by their brand they have many different luxury items on their website. The clothes are well made and their price reflects that, but you don’t have to stress over Reformation prices there are inexpensive options that can still help you crush your holiday season.

Rent the Runway

If you’re tired of purchasing dresses or outfits for the holiday season, Rent the Runway is a great alternative option to spending money on a new dress every year. They allow you to rent dresses or other pieces of clothing that may be out of your price range if you were to buy them full price. This is great if you want to rent luxury items like Nicole Miller, Vera Wang, Moschino and Lauren Ralph Lauren. You can also sign up for their different subscription plans, such as having a monthly plan where they update your wardrobe each month, or you can have the flexibility of renting 4 different items at a time.

Have fun online shopping and navigating these sites. I hope you find something that suits you and impresses your friends!
