Snapchat can bring out the best in someone, or it can bring out the worst. It exposes people for exactly who they are. Snapchat allows us to take horrendous photos of ourselves, document our daily activities and embarrass ourselves with the newest filter. Here are just a few of the different types of people you can find using (or abusing!) this app.
1. The lip-syncer
The lip-syncer loves singing, but could never thought they could hit the right notes until at home convenient karaoke stage was invented- Snapchat. Once Snapchat changed the setting to allow use of the front facing camera the game was forever changed, and our feeds were flooded with amateur music videos.
2. The filter abusers
This person just loves to try out every filter, and when there’s a new filter you know just what to expect even before watching their stories. Excessive or not, it can be entertaining from time to time.
3. The narrator
There never seems to be a dull moment in their Snapchat, and they can make even the simplest of task seem somewhat adventurous.
4. The video driver
It made sense when they wanted to record themselves driving right after they received their license, but by college and they’ve had their license for years now. There’s really no reason to blast music and have friends record videos at a stop light. Drive safely and stay focused on the road.
5. The selfie kings & queens
They can’t seem to help constantly bombarding their followers with selfies throughout the day as a constant reminder of just how cute they are.
6. The people that never show their faces
It’s hard to know or even imagine what this person even looks like because all of their Snaps are made up of either pictures of landscapes, food or random people you’ve never met before.
7. The people with long stories
The longer the story the more likely you are to skip it. Snapchat really isn’t the place to produce an episode of True Life.
8. The food critics
The self-proclaimed foodies of this world post pictures of nearly everything they’re eating. Perhaps this is their way of being artsy?
9. The turn up videographers
These are the people who turn up and want the world to know it. They want to give you the chance to feel like you’re at the party too. It’s a plug for all of the parties happening around campus. This friend definitely wants you to know they’re the life of the party.
10. The couploader
These individuals always manage to have pictures with their SO doing everything together in their story. Even mundane activities like sleeping, eating or just sitting there.
11. The D.I.Y. people
These people have download Pinterest, created a few canvas paintings and perhaps got a bit too carried away. Their stories are filled with before and after pictures and Snaps of their newest projects.
12. The fashionistas
This person loves to rock their outfits, and they want to make sure that you, as their follower, never go a day without seeing what they’re wearing and how bomb their outfit is. Enjoy their slay and watch their story for some daily fashion inspiration.
13. The gym rats
Okay we all know ‘that person’ who never fails to post a gym selfie, or at least a mirror selfie of them in their gym clothes. They like letting everyone else know that they’re fit and in shape and always manage to make you feel a little guilty in the process.
14. The animal lover
You know you can always look forward to their posts and expect something cute and cuddly to pop up on your screen to make you smile.
15. The mass Snapper
Every time you receive a Snap from this person you just know you’re not the only one that received this generic message. Chances are, they’ve posted the same Snap on their story as well.
16. The non-existent Snapchatter
These are the people you forget you even follow. They never post, but they definitely view your story.
17. The artist
This is the person who draws on everything. You can guarantee any picture they post is going to have some original artwork.
Whether you love or you hate these types of Snapchatters, you somehow manage to never unfollow them.
