As a devout fashionista, I find myself surfing the internet in every spare moment. I’m constantly admiring the season’s latest accessories, shoes, and other such masterpieces. In order to pursue my “passion for fashion,” I need to add to my closet, develop my style, and promote my blog. It’s the only way to design my dreams.

For a long time, there was one problem I faced. I didn’t have a job, and I didn’t have a large budget.
If only I knew when all my favorite items hit the sales…

Now, thanks to two innovative style geniuses, all I have to do is SNATCH THAT.

That’s right. I SNATCH and CATCH my dream styles.

So you are probably wondering… SNATCHTHAT…what’s the CATCH?

Two juniors at Vanderbilt University, Kelly Leonard and Grace Ortkiese, developed SnatchThat for college students who are both stylish and fiscally aware. SnatchThat allows members to “snatch” items from all over the world into a virtual closet. As soon as these items go on sale, SnatchThat alerts its fashionistas so they never miss out on a deal.

SnatchThat is more than a money-saver but also a fashion community. SnatchThat recognized that the shopping experience lost its charm when it transitioned to an online market. Shoppers no longer shared their style with other consumers, as one would do in a store. As a result, many fashionistas were less exposed to other trends, styles, and innovations.

So what did they do?
SnatchThat has transformed shopping into a social media extravaganza, where you can snatch, see what others are snatching, share your opinions, and “resnatch” if you are feeling inspired.

Why do I love it?
SnatchThat has not only helped me save money, but it has also exposed me to styles of fashionistas around the world. It’s like a Pinterest that you can buy. Instead of merely admiring another’s style, I can make it my own by “resnatching” items from other fashionistas’ closets and buying them for incorporation into my own wardrobe.

SnatchThat helps me on personal level and a professional level, and it’s a great tool to implement into any aspiring stylists’ blog. People that you inspire can model your style, and further, make your style a reality by purcahsing these items at the best prices.

It’s time to design your dreams …
Shop Social. Save More. SnatchThat.

HOW?

WHERE?
Stacey Oswald, originally from South Florida, came to Vanderbilt as a member of the class of 2015 and got involved with HerCampus her freshman year. She became assistant editor that year and is now the Campus Correspondent for Vanderbilt HC as a sophomore. Stacey is currently a columnist for Ask Miss A- Nashville and the life section of The Hustler. She's also very involved in her sorority, Kappa Delta, as well as Invisible Children. Outside of school and her extracurriculars, Stacey finds happiness in many sources, the most crucial being exercise and the sun. She loves to attend exercise classes and is an avid runner; she recently completed the Country Music Half Marathon. She also loves Vitamin D, especially when on the beach- though of course, she only soaks up the sun after applying SPF. A few of the things Stacey couldn't live without? Good food (especially from Sweet Cece's, Bricktops, and Samurai Sushi), great books (The Hypnotist's Love Story is a recent favorite), her family back in Florida, her wonderful boyfriend, and all of the great friends she's made at Vanderbilt.
