Mercedes Benz New York Fashion Week Recap

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Vanderbilt chapter.

New York’s Fall Fashion Week came to a close this past Thursday, February 16, featuring an endless list of designers ready to show off their latest work. Jeweled tones, fur sleeves, shoulder embellishments and plunging necklines emerged as new themes on the runways. Some trends returning for next fall include fringe detailing, fur coats and vests and color blocking. If you didn’t get a chance to watch the shows last week, below is a quick recap of some of my favorite looks.
