Here on Vanderbilt’s campus, we have a ton of different platforms to order food on. Even Vanderbilt’s card website allows you to do so using meal money through the “Get Food” option on the Commodore card website. Just a little while ago, OrderUp started to appear all over campus, and is now one of the most used websites for students on campus. Today, I’m going to present you with another one: Envoy Now
EnvoyNow was founded by a group of college students at University of South California last year, when they posted a phone number on their dorm room door, promising to deliver food conveniently straight to the door of students that call it. As professional deliverymen of restaurants usually couldn’t make it past the gate or the front door, their access to each building allowed for added convenience to the customers.
EnvoyNow has been featured in a ton of national features, such as USA Today, Inc.com, and even on TechCrunch. This new service has now reached Vanderbilt as well.
There are currently 4 restaurants available to Vanderbilt students that will be delivered straight to your location, and the company is adding more all the time! Right now you can get Chipotle, Five Guys, Qdoba and Subway delivered straight to your door, for just a $2.99 delivery charge in addition to the price of the order.
