Drink of the Week: Frozen Mimosas

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Vanderbilt chapter.

Pretty much everyone loves mimosas. There’s not much to complain about: champagne, OJ, and the occasional garnish. Also, they are light enough to enjoy with any meal, including early breakfast on game days. These “mimosa floats” are a twist to the classic mimosa, using sorbet instead of just juice. This will create a refreshing, cool taste. Oh, and don’t be afraid to use extra champagne. :)

Ingredients:

1 pint orange sorbet

1 bottle champagne (even Andre is fine!)

Using a small ice cream scoop, scoop orange sorbet into a champagne flute. Top it off with as much champagne as you deem appropriate. Pair with a black tailgate dress to fully rock the black and gold, and anchor down!
