So almost a year ago I stumbled across this app, but it wasn’t until about six months ago that I fell completely in love with it. What is Mercari? Well, it is an app where you and others can sell, buy, and trade your new and used items. It’s absolutely addicting! Keep reading so you can find out how to make some quick cash just by selling items you already own.
The first thing I look for when searching for a place or app to sell my items on is if the place or app takes a percentage of my earnings. Which Mercari DOES NOT! Exciting, right? I found out that I could keep 100% of my earnings and jumped on this app. I signed up and immediately began to browse.
Once I felt like I kind of had the hang of it, I decided to try and sell one item just to see if it actually worked. Oh, it did and it sold pretty quickly too. I also made a purchase just to see if it was “honest” meaning people weren’t on there ripping others off. At this point I loved it! I also love Mercari’s policy on how they don’t release your money to the seller if you’re buying until you have received and reviewed the product to make sure it is as described. That’s probably my favorite aspect of the app.

One of my least favorite things, but is still not an issue is how long it sometimes takes the money to transfer from your Mercari account to your actual bank account. It takes approximately 2-3 business days. No big deal really. You also have the choice to either leave the money you made in your Mercari account to use towards future purchases or you can just transfer it to your personal account.
So, after knowing all of this why would you not download this app? It’s amazing! Here’s an incentive for you if you choose to download it. Use my personal code “ZTDDPP” when you sign up on the app and receive a $2 credit to go towards your future purchases.

Happy Selling!
