Learning to do your makeup, can be challenging. Especially, when you do not know where to even begin. Doing research is helpful. Looking at online videos can help as well. You might think you have it all figured out by looking at YouTube videos because they make it seem so easy, but YouTube videos can be misleading to a nearly new cosmetic beauty. To take the first step of learning how to do your makeup, it is always important to first schedule your first makeup lesson with a professional makeup artist. Then you are on the road to your makeup learning journey. When going to your first makeup-lesson, be prepared to learn. There will be important tips presented by the makeup artist. The makeup artist will be able to educate you on the products you will need and your skin type. Your first lesson might seem like a lot. It’s always important to take a notebook to your makeup lesson appointment so you can take notes. Make sure when your taking notes, you are organized as possible. Being organize plays a major role when learning makeup because there are important steps when applying makeup that must be completed first. Your makeup artist will provide you an abundance of helpful information for you to take in being a new makeup beauty learner. It’s important to write the information down for your reference later when you face by yourelf.

Once you have taken your first makeup lesson, you are now at the stage to buy your make-up products. You will know what products to get because your makeup artist instructor educated you with products you will need to accomplish the look you are going for, makeup-wise. When you go shopping for makeup you will learn makeup is not cheap but when buying makeup products being a beginner it is important to know cheap name brand makeup works just well as the expensive name-brand makeup products. It’s just all about your personal preference. A tip is to remember being a beginner is always smart to start with cheap products because you are at the learning stage and your going make mistakes. Now that you all set with your makeup products from a long day of shopping. Now, it is time to practice. You are eager to begin to practice, before you apply a product, always stay organized. Keep your makeup products organize because of being a beginner. It’s quick to forget what product does what and goes where, so it is important to keep makeup products organized. Ways to keep your makeup organized is labeling your makeup products by groups where it goes on the face. Even MUA artist keeps their makeup products organized,  for when they have clients. Becoming a makeup beauty does not just happen overnight. You practice until you understand what works for you. There are different techniques you can apply while doing makeup. The individual must learn what works for them. Practicing with a friend can make learning makeup helpful because you have an extra pair of eyes. Insight from others can always be resourceful. There is no wrong or right way to practice your techniques. In the beginning, while learning how to do your makeup be prepared to be discouraged because it’s not going to be perfect as professional MUA artists. It takes time! It even took your professional MUA time to learn their craft. So, practice, practice. Practice makes perfect!
