How To: Make Your Own Sugar and Sea Salt Body Scrub

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Valdosta chapter.

As spring slowly comes to an end, we are looking forward to new hygiene routines to try this Fall/Winter. One routine I like to incorporate into each season are body scrubs. Body scrubs are great to use for exfoliating your skin to get rid of dead skin. Here are two homemade body scrubs you can make that are quick, fast and easy!

Sugar Scrub aka Coconut Vanilla Brown Sugar Body Scrub Recipe

Use Any Jar (I prefer Mason Jar)

  1. Add Brown Sugar
  2. Add 3 TBSP of Coconut Oil
  3. Mix Well With Spoon
  4. Add Vanilla (a splash)
  5.  Mix Well
  6. Store In Refrigerator

Sea Salt Recipe:

Use Jar (Mason Jar Preferred)

  1. One Cup of Sea Salt
  2. 1/4 Cup of Olive Oil
  3. Add Piece of Lemon Rind/Skin
  4. Add to Scrub
  5. Mix Well
  6. Store in Refrigerator
