  1. Making Candy Apples
Apples In Row
Jocelyn Hsu / Spoon

This is a fun and simple activity to do with friends, family, or even by yourself when you’re craving a sweet treat. The recipe is extremely easy to follow and all you need is sugar, water, corn syrup, popsicle sticks, and of course, your apples! You can even add food coloring and decoration if you want to add a little more color and pizazz. This can be a nice little late night snack or a fun experiment for you to show off to the gram, if that’s what you’re into lol.

2. Fall Photoshoot

This is the season where it seems like everyone wants to put their photography and modelling skills to the test. Its hard to escape nature’s beauty as all the leaves start changing colors and landscapes are covered in orange, red, and yellow. Take advantage! While on the way to class, set the intention of capture all the beauty you see outside. Or, put on your best fall fit and have your own personal photoshoot amongst the leaves. Invite your friends for a group photoshoot!

3. Have A Bonfire!

As the weather starts to cool down, we don’t want to lose touch of the things that make us feel warm inside (and outside!) Bonfires are a part of this category because not only do they keep warm externally, but they are also good for socializing and connecting with friends too. You can gather around the fire, make s’mores, have a couple of drinks (if you’re 21+), and laugh/cry about old memories. There’s something about a good bonfire that really romanticizes the festive nature of fall. You can’t help but leave feeling warm.

4. Make A List Of Things You’re Grateful For

This last activity isn’t as festive as the others, but it’s just as important. Take a few minutes out of the day to sit with yourself and ponder on the blessings that have made their way into your life. Take note of them. They can range from material possessions to attributes you love within yourself to even the relationships you have in your life. It’s important to outwardly express gratitude as much as you can. You will find that you have a lot to be grateful for (more than you think). Being in the mindset of gratitude can also open up the door for new blessings to come back to you as well.
