We have made it to the fall season! Where the weather is cooling down, the leaves begin to change color, and do not forget when the leaves fall from the trees. Which means the family must get ready for the fun family fall activities. Yay! During these times, you might think fun fall activities are canceled or limited because of the pandemic. You are so wrong! Here are some of the safest, social distancing fall activities you can do this Fall. Let us explore low-budget family fun fall activities that will bring the family closer together this Autumn. Not only will it help bring your family close together, but you will make unforgettable family memories. But before we talk about family fun fall activities, be sure to bring out your pen and paper because we about to make a fall list to fulfill our autumn bucket list. And you going want to do these activities because it will have the little ones so excited to participate in these fall activities.

Watch Disney Movie: Hocus Pocus with the family.

When I think of Fall, I think of Halloween. When I think of Halloween, I think of the movie Hocus Pocus. Yes! A classic that everyone in the family will enjoy no matter what age group. You can never go wrong with this film while eating your favorite fall treats. To add some more fun while watching Hocus Pocus, have everyone dress up in their favorite spooky Halloween costume. To get the kids excited about being a part of the timeless film and get them excited about Halloween. 

Create fall decorations.

Children love being creative and sharing their masterpieces with their loved ones. You can find household items that you already have, for example, paper, canyons, etc. This activity also gives you little moments to talk to each other while you guys get in touch with your creative side.

Bake a pumpkin pie together.

Baking can be so much fun! Especially when you are making a tasty treat! This such a great fall activity to do with the whole family because the parents can help and teach the little ones to be a super chief.

Have a bonfire.

Yes! Start the fire for the perfect bonfire night with the family. The best part of having a bonfire while you heat marshmallow and make s’ mores you can tell spooky tales.

Go on a family bike ride.

Family bike riding is a great family activity to enjoy because of the nice weather and site seeing the beautiful color leaves with the family! If you do not have a bike, the family can go for a walk instead. To make the walking fun for the younger children, have them play a skipping game.

Collect pinecones together.

The little ones will have so much fun collecting pinecones with the family. You can even turn it into a game with who finds the most pinecones or find the spookiest pinecone in the yard.

Make Fall theme scented homemade candles.

Have the family choose their favorite smell that reminds them of the Fall season. For example, apple-cinnamon spice scented candles or pumpkin spice scented candles. Just make sure your little one does not eat the candles because of the tasty smell!

Play a game of tic tac toe.

Children love games. Yes, you can even play a game of tic tac toe. To give it an Autumn feeling, cut out small printable cut out sheets of pumpkins and leaves. Let the pumpkins represent O and let the leaves represent X.  Play a game of traditional tic tac toe with the printout shapes (pumpkins and leaves). It will be so cute and creative, and the kids will love it!

Visit a pumpkin patch.

Find your nearest pumpkin patch and pick out a pumpkin with your little ones. Family time picking out the perfect pumpkin can be so much fun.

Read a book.

Pick a book to read with the family. Find a book with a Fall theme can be entertaining and a learning experience for the little ones. Some good fall theme books are Goodbye Summer, Hello Autumn by Kenard Pak also There Was an Old Lady Who Swallowed Some Leaves by Lucille Colandro, which are a few good books your little one will enjoy. You can read whatever Fall theme book you find in your local library.
