Meet Yoshi! You’ve probably seen him in Odum Library once or twice, or even out and about on campus. Well, if you’ve never had the chance to catch more than a glimpse of him, today’s you’re lucky day because he is this week’s Campus Cutie!
Name: Yoshahvyah “Yoshi” Carter
Age: 22
Hometown: Ra’anana, Israel
Classification: Senior
Major: Pre-Law
Zodiac Sign: Taurus
HC: First off, what made you decide to attend VSU?
Yoshi: I liked that it was close to Florida! It also seemed like a calm, quiet town where I could focus on my studies.
HC: So in this calm, quiet place, what do you enjoy doing during your free time?
Yoshi: I like to play soccer or just read a good book when I’m not busy doing school work.
HC: How would you describe yourself?
Yoshi: Determined, charismatic, but I can be stubborn at times.
HC: As far as ladies go, what are some turn-ons? And of course, turn-offs?
Yoshi: I like an intelligent woman who knows what she wants in life and has the drive to go get it. I’m also a sucker for a cute smile. Turn-offs would be a girl who’s always in the public eye and focused on pleasing the social crowd.
HC: What’s your idea of a perfect date?
Yoshi: Dinner at a candle-lit Italian restaurant with a nice, mellow piano playing. After we’d take a walk around town during the early evening with great conversation and good site seeing.
HC: What do you consider most important when in a relationship?
Yoshi: I don’t feel that there is one factor in a relationship that is beyond all others. The most important things are a combination of respect, space, attention, communication, interest, and great physical chemistry.
HC: Who is your celebrity crush? And why?
Yoshi: I’d have to say Adriana Lima. She has an amazing smile and some of the most beautiful eyes I’ve ever seen!
HC: What are your plans for after graduation?
Yoshi: I plan to attend Law School at Stanford University in California
HC: What is your all-time favorite line from a movie?
Yoshi: It’s from Pursuit of Happyness: “Don’t ever let somebody tell you [that] you can’t do something. Not even me. All right? You got a dream? You gotta protect it. People can’t do something themselves, they want to tell you [that] you can’t do it. You want something? Go get it! Period!”
HC: Nice! What are 3 things you’d say that you can’t imagine life without?
Yoshi: My mom, Chipotle [laughs], and books.
HC: Finally, share one last fun fact!
Yoshi: I’m a vegetarian and I love to cook Italian food.
There you have it! He’s more than what meets the eye. Now maybe you know him enough to speak the next time you see him! Until then, be sure to follow him on Twitter, @SlayerCarter15!
HCXO!
