HC: Hey Brandon! To kick this interview off, let’s start with your inspiration for greatness. Who or what is the cause of that inspiration and how does it keep you motivated?

Brandon: My mother; her focus, drive, support, wisdom, and belief in me that I can do all things that I set my mind to – no matter what. And knowing that I’m not only making my mother and family proud, but also making myself proud as well.

HC: That’s so sweet! Do you remember a time when you realized that you could make an impact on the world around you?

Brandon: The debut of my short film, “The Clue,” was my first time ever really doing something for myself, something that involved my passion. I was scared to death as to how I was going to pull it off as well as how it was going to be perceived. But, after it was over, I actually had a standing ovation during the premiere my mind was so blown away that it made me look forward towards whatever goals I have.

HC: Wow. That moment really did impact you and your future it sounds like. Do you have an idea of what you would like to do with your degree after you graduate?

Brandon: Hopefully getting my foot into the door of being an independent film maker and doing advertisements for films as well.

HC: That sounds like a great plan. Speaking of a great plan…how do you stay on top of all of your classes, projects, etc?

Brandon: I keep a planner on me at all times with a detailed map of my life each day, from homework to org work. I do my best to practice time management.

HC: Well if you’re not doing work, what are you doing in your free time?

Brandon: Netflix and chill, going to eat with my friends, listening to new albums, and surfing the web.

HC: That sounds like fun! Now if you could go back in time, to be a part of any film, movement, vote, big milestone in history, where would you time travel to?

Brandon: 1993 – I would want to be a part of the Mighty Morphing Power Rangers! Who didn’t want to, right?!?

HC: Is that what you wanted to be when you were little? A Power Ranger?

Brandon: A Power Ranger or Batman.

HC: Well with your super powers, what impact would you hope to leave at VSU after your time here?

Brandon: I want for people around me and close to me to say that I not only achieved the goals [that were] spoken but also did great things with his goals.

There you have it folks! That’s Brandon! If you loved his article, connect with him on Twitter and let him know!

HCXO!
