Oily skin definitely isn’t an easy task to handle! Our genetics and environment are huge factors in regards to how oily our skin will be and contrary to popular belief, the foods we eat have little to do with our breakouts. Because oily skin is more prone to acne, it is important to keep it clean while keeping it moisturized!

Here are some great natural products you can add to your skincare routine!

1. Apple Cider Vinegar. You can use apple cider vinegar to exfoliate your skin. After diluting it with water, apply it with a cotton ball like a toner, then rinse it off after a couple of minutes with cool or lukewarm water. Apple cider vinegar is antibacterial and has many health benefits!

2. Almond Honey Scrub. Mix a small amount of honey with ground almonds. Use your hands to gently scrub the mixture on your face. (If you don’t have almonds, try using baking soda instead!)

3. Egg Yolk Masks. Egg yolk masks are really good for drying out the skin because it creates a barrier on the skin from the dirt, which creates oils. You can apply the yolk on your skin and let it sit for about 10 minutes, then rinse it off with cool water. This technique is also really good for oily hair!

4. Citrus/Acid Rinse. Fruits with citruses and acids are really good for removing dead skin. Lemon, lime and cucumber juice are good choices. After diluting the juice with water, let it dry completely. Rinse with warm water, and then rinse with cool water to close your pores.

All of these natural products can be found at any nearby grocery store, and cost no more than $5! HCXO!
