With the end of the year approaching, if you’re a movie-fanatic like me, you may be curious to see what great movies the new year will bring. Here are just a handful of movies to look out for next year.

1. Fifty Shades of Grey

We’ve all read the hot, steamy book that got our skin crawling and now it’s finally coming to the big screen! Hitting theaters on February 13, it’s the perfect movie to go see for a Valentine’s Day date.

2. Ted 2

Your favorite thunder buddy is back! The furry, obnoxious and vulgar teddy bear, Ted, is at it once again! Although the plot is unknown at the moment, if Ted made you laugh the first time, the sequel will probably have you crying from laughter. But this time, instead of seeing Mila Kunis as the lead female character, you can expect to see Mean Girls and Dear John star, Amanda Seyfried.

3. Avengers: Age of Ultron

We’ve had to wait three long years, but some of our favorite super heroes are finally back for a sequel. Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, The Incredible Hulk, Black Widow and Hawkeye are coming together again in the follow-up to what was said to be the biggest super hero movie of our time. This time around, the Avengers have to stop Ultron from ending the fate of the planet. For the girls who love a good old action-packed film, this one is sure to deliver. Look out for The Avengers on May 1.

4. Pitch Perfect 2

The Barden Bellas are back again to bring more laughs and songs in this follow-up. Not much is known about the plot, but maybe we’ll get another awesome song from Anna Kendrick! Pitch Perfect is set to hit theaters on May 15.

5. The Fantastic Four

The movie we all loved almost ten years ago is coming back as a re-make with an all-new cast. I know what you’re probably thinkingyou loved the actors that were in the original so why would they need to recast the characters? Well ladies, Michael B. Jordan will be playing Human Torch. Who wouldn’t want to see those adorable dimples on the big screen?

6. Furious 7

Our favorite franchise is back again for its seventh run! Get ready for tons of action and fast, sexy cars. Although it may be a little different without Paul Walker being in the entire film, the Fast and Furious franchise never disappoints. Expect to see the newest addition to the series on April 3.

7. Taken 3

If Taken and Taken 2 weren’t already good enough, Taken 3 is supposed to be even better. In this one, Bryan Mills’ ex-wife who he recently reconcilled with won’t be takenbut murdered! Watch as he uses his genius skills to track down his wife’s killers. And if we know anything about Bryan Mills, it’s that he never fails to get the job done! Look out for this one on January 9.

8. The Wedding Ringer

In Kevin Hart’s newest comedy, he plays the best man for a soon-to-be-groom who doesn’t have any friends of his own to stand in the place as best man at his wedding. For any of you Big Bang Theory fans, Kaley Cuoco stars as the bride. And just like any Kevin Hart movie, this one looks like it is sure to have you laughing all the way through. Look out for this one on January 16.
