5 Amazingly Underrated Hair Products

This article is written by a student writer from the Her Campus at Valdosta chapter.

There will always be a new and hot product on the market. Of course the packaging is cute, but realistically most of these new products aren’t good for your hair at all. I personally try to stray away from trendy products, and go for the better choices that have been reliable for me.

All of the following are some of my favorite and inexpensive hair products. They are all either 100% natural, or sulfate and alcohol free!

1. Biosilk Silk Therapy Serum

Biosilk’s Silk Therapy is a great leave in serum for your hair when it’s freshly washed and damp. It’s perfect to use right before you style or blowdry it! A little bit goes a long way with this product and it’s highly reccomended! $13

2. Herbal Essences Hello Hydration Conditioner

For the ladies who co wash often, this is a great inexpenssive hair conditioner that will hydrte your hair and leave it silky smooth. $4

3.  Design Essentials Sleek Edge Control

This is one of my favorite edge controls to use when I want a striaght and sleek look. It has honey and shea in it, keeps a firm hold, and gives a perfect gloss.

4. Yes to Tomatoes Volumizing Conditioner

This creamy conditioner coats your hair with natural ingredients that makes it great for deep conditioning! The volumizing conditioner is perfect for relaxed and curly hair. $9

5. L’Oreal EverSleek Humidity Defying Leave In Crème

This lightweight and silky creme protects your hair from frizzing before styling or blowdrying. It smells amazing, and keeps the moisture sealed in your hair for a few days. $7

All of these products can be found on Sally’s, Target, or WalMart! Give them a try and let us know what you think! #HCXO!
