Hello beautiful humans!

This week is campus safety week here a Valdosta State University. Campus safety week is a week that we all need! It helps us as students know how to protect themselves, how to prevent crimes from happening or how not to get involved into crimes. It also helps the parents because it gives them a sense of relief when they know that the students can protect themselves as well has campus security.

Whether you are on or off campus you should always make sure that someone has your location and know where you are at. It can be a friends or family or even your Residents assistance. Here are 3 that’ll help with staying safe on and off campus!

Life 360

Life 360 is an app that I recommend to EVERYONE. This is such a great app to have, especially when you are in college. I personally have this app and it helps me and my mom stay in touch with each other’s location. Me and my friends have each other’s location as well. It has amazing features such as a zooming in feature so that you can see exactly where they are and how it looks around that area, and a feature so that you can know whenever they have arrived home ore when their phone battery is low. This app is not only free, but it is also great for both Apple and Androids This app gets a 5-star rating in my opinion!

Shake2Safety

Shake2Safety is a creative app! With this app instead of having to put in your passcode to get into your phone for help, all you must do is shake it! You can also tap the power button 3 times. When you this it automatically sends notifications to you emergency contacts. That’s not all that is cool. It also audio records everything that is happening, and it sends it to your emergency contacts as well. This app is not only free, but it is also great for both Apple and Androids This app also gets a 5-star rating in my opinion!

BSafe

The BSafe app is also a creative safety app! With this app it has an SOS system in it that is voice activated. So, whenever you are in trouble and don’t have the time to log into your phone all you do is use your voice activated code and it notifies your emergency contact. It also records everything that is happening, and it sends it to your emergency contacts. It comes with a built-in siren that goes off wherever you are in trouble. This app is not only free, but it is also great for both Apple and Androids This app also gets a 5-star rating in my opinion!
