Spring break is a time get away from schoolwork and stress but it is also a good chance for an adventure.  You and your friends have a week to travel and explore, so seize the opportunity.

1. Miami, Florida

Home to some of the most popular films, such as Bad Boys, 2 Fast 2 Furious, and All About the Benjamins, Miami is the place to vacation. Taste the local cuisine, bask in the nightlife and soak up the sun.

2. Los Cabos, Mexico

Endless bar crawls and sandy beaches, what could be better? If you’re not into drinking day and night then there are plenty of tours, including whale watching, that are sure to lead to a ton of pictures to place on your Instagram.

3. Los Angeles, California

West Coast vibes are meant for everyone and Los Angeles is the best place to experience that. Travel to the Hollywood sign, and if you have time take a trip to the film studios: Paramount Pictures, Universal and Warner Brothers. Lastly, be sure to visit the Walk of Fame and take a picture with a star.

4. Ocho Rios, Jamaica

While you may have never heard about it, Ocho Rios is a place you should be talking about. The tropical mountain ranges will leave you in awe and the crystal clear water will have you wondering why you vacationed anywhere else. Go horseback riding and take in the beauty of Ocho Rios or satisfy the daredevil in you and go white river kayaking, either way you’ll be having the time of your life.

5. Savannah, Georgia

If you’re lucky enough to have spring break during the St. Patrick holiday then Savannah is the place to be. Other than the bar crawl for the overly green holiday, the city is historical and beautiful. It is also affordable and the taste of down south comfort food will make it hard to leave.

6. San Juan, Puerto Rico

Puerto Rico really needs no introduction, but San Juan’s relaxed atmosphere and feel of nostalgia will confirm that you’re in paradise. The luscious El Yunque Rainforest and the beautiful beaches are great, especially for the outdoorsy type.

7. Myrtle Beach, South Carolina

If you’re pinching a penny but don’t want to skip out on a good time then Myrtle Beach is the place to call home for a couple of days. The beach is beautiful and the music is loud. You’re sure to leave with great memories and money left in your wallet.

8. Puerto Viejo, Costa Rica

Gorgeous and the capital of cool, Puerto Viejo is a must to check off your travel list. Besides the beautiful beaches you have multiple opportunities to indulge in other things, such as zip-lining. Do yourself a favor and book a flight now, you won’t regret it.

9. Atlantic City, New Jersey

While you may not exactly think that Jersey is the place to be during spring break, Atlantic City has a lot to offer. Atlantic City has more of a casino scenery but you can’t forget the boardwalk, night clubs, and of course the live music shows. If you’re lucky maybe you’ll even eat at the same restaurant as Snooki and Jwoww.

10. Cancun, Mexico
