When I say Panera Bread you probably immediately think of hot soup in sourdough bread bowls. Panera is all about bread so much so that the name literally means “bread time bread”. Prior to working at Panera, it was the place where I went with my little sister on school days off and summer break. It was always the best spot to stop after buying way too much at Bath & Body Works. Now even with working with Panera’s food every day there are still some items I never tire of.

Chicken and Wild Rice Soup

My associates can attest to the fact that I love chicken and wild rice soup. Available Tuesday/Thursday/Saturday/Sunday on our *soup rotation schedule, it isn’t uncommon for me to have it four days a week. It’s a creamy soup that’s just super comforting. *Monday/Wednesday is Baked Potato. Friday is New England Clam.

Roasted Turkey and Avocado BLT

This sandwich is made with mayo (the only mayo I like), lettuce, tomato, roasted turkey, bacon, and avocado. I get this on whole grain most often, but it automatically comes on sourdough.

Green Goddess Cobb Salad

This salad is made with romaine, the house-made green goddess dressing, wedge tomato, pickled red onion, avocado, chicken, hard boiled egg and diced bacon. The off-menu version- Avocado Cobb Salad with Chicken- is the same, but no diced bacon. I like to add cucumber.

Other items that are the most popular overall with customers are the Broccoli Cheddar soup, Mac&Cheese, Frontega Chicken Panini, and the Caesar Salad.
