Homecoming is an exciting weekend for any university, and typically revolves around the big football game. This year the University of Windsor Lancers experienced a tough loss to the McMaster Marauders. The Lancers fell 44- 19 on Saturday at Alumni Field. This loss brought the Lancers to a record of 1-5 and the Marauders to 4-1.
The Lancers started off the game strong with a field goal, but the Marauders managed to score a fast touchdown to bring the game 7-3. The first quarter ended with the Lancers not putting any more points on the board. During the second quarter the Lancers were able to score a touchdown and bring the score to 35-10 to end the first half.
In a slow second half the Lancers were able to score a single touchdown, and received points when the Marauders allowed a safety. The Lancers gave it their all and it was a tough loss, especially on Homecoming weekend.
