The Lancer men’s volleyball team faced a tough loss to the University of Western Mustangs. Unfortunately they lost all three sets to the Mustangs. In the first set, the Lancers struggled with their offensive play and lost 25-15. The second set was a lot closer of a match, with the Lancers only losing 25-23. With a tough third loss of 27-25, the Lancers lost their final set of the game. Next weekend the Lancers look to take on the Queens Gaels at home.
The Lancer women’s volleyball team were successful in all three sets against the Ottawa GeeGees. The first set went to the Lancers, even though the GeeGees had an early lead. The Lancers were able to take advantage of mistakes made by the GeeGees to pull ahead late in the set to win it 25-21. In the second set, the GeeGees and Lancers were back and forth with points until Windsor managed to pull ahead by two points. A final win of 27-25 in a hard-fought match brought the Lancers to a 2-2 record.
